HGV Max Launches for Bluegreen Vacation Club
Last November, HGV Max launched for Bluegreen Members, allowing you to upgrade your membership to have even more vacation options. You’ll maintain many of your existing Bluegreen Vacation Club benefits and gain exciting features that enhance your ownership, including access to more resorts across the world.
The acquisition of Bluegreen Vacations means HGV has an expanded portfolio of properties across the United States. Access to these properties will start to become available to HGV Max Members by the end of 2025, so keep an eye out for more updates soon.
Check Your Inbox for the Latest Fee Updates
You should have received an important email from me earlier this month with updates about your membership for the year ahead. In case you missed it, here is a reminder for Embarc/Extraordinary Escapes, HGVClub and The Club Members and for Bluegreen Vacation Club Members. The message includes links to your 2025 rules and fees documents, as well as important reminders from HGV.

With the warmer vacation season nearly upon us, we want to help everyone make the most of their membership, which is why understanding your reservation windows is so important.
Remember that the best time to book is as far out as the reservation window allows. If you’re looking to travel to a new destination, we recommend being flexible with your travel dates and looking for destinations where we have multiple resorts. Reservation windows vary by membership program and are provided on your Member website.
It is also worth checking upcoming deadlines for saving your points to maximize usage and booking online to save on fees. For more details, refer to your Club Rules or Member Directory guides on your Member website, which is a fantastic resource to help you with any inquiries.
There are multiple choices for Members when it comes to using your points and we advise expanding your options by using them early in the year. You can book trips throughout the year, save some or all your points for later use or borrow points from next year to take your ultimate escape right now. The Member website also highlights various reduced point stays throughout the year, so don’t forget to visit often.

HGV MyExplorer+ puts personal recommendations at your fingertips with just a tap

Introducing HGV MyExplorer+
Creating personal, unique experiences for you is at the heart of what we do. That’s why I’m excited to share that HGV MyExplorer+ officially launched in June.
HGV MyExplorer+ enhances your search experience by using artificial intelligence to offer more travel options, even when exact matches aren’t available due to seasonal or inventory limitations. The AI uses your travel and booking history, location preferences and insights from other Members with similar interests to suggest personalized alternatives. So instead of seeing “No Results,” you’ll discover helpful, curated recommendations.
After months of beta testing, HGV MyExplorer+ is now available to all points-based Members on the unified Member website.

Leigh’s Vacation Tips: Preparing for Your Trip
Sometimes it’s the little bit of prep you do before you travel that makes for a truly relaxing vacation.
Packing might not be fun, but making a checklist will ensure you don’t forget any essentials while also leaving room for souvenirs. Check for any flight changes and weather issues ahead of departure — and I always advise getting to the airport early to avoid stress.
Sometimes unexpected events, whether that’s illness, emergencies or travel disruptions, can force you to cancel a trip. That’s why getting a vacation protection plan can provide you with valuable peace of mind.
We have several travel protection plans across our membership programs, with options covering lost baggage, medical expenses and car rental damages. You can add a protection plan during booking, but you can also add a plan retroactively on your Member website or by contacting your Club team.
While spontaneity is part of the joy of travel, booking tours and dining reservations in advance prevents disappointment, especially in peak season.
