Meet The Team: Sébastien Arnaud, General Manager at Cabo Azul, a Hilton Vacation Club
Our people are at the heart of everything we do, ensuring we deliver the best possible vacations for our Members. This year, Sébastien Arnaud marks a decade as general manager of Cabo Azul, a Hilton Vacation Club on the southern tip of Mexico’s Baja California peninsula. We caught up with him to learn more about his passion for hospitality.
“We’re here to create memorable experiences,” says Sébastien. “When Members arrive at the resort, we always say, ‘Welcome home,’ and that’s exactly how we want them to feel when they visit Cabo Azul.”
It’s the personal touches Sébastien and his team of approximately 640 Team Members add to each visitor’s stay that make all the difference. “You can have a wonderful building, a wonderful resort,” he explains, “but without the heart and soul of passionate people, you won’t be successful. That passion is what really makes the difference to Members at Cabo Azul.”
With sweeping ocean views and unique architecture inspired by 18th-century design, Cabo Azul offers a serene escape rooted in Mexican culture. The resort and spa exude relaxation, blending world-class amenities with authentic local charm.
“Creating the perfect vacation is all about the details, knowing your Guests, catering to their needs and always leaving a positive impression,” Sébastien shares. He credits the support of HGV for fostering a culture of excellence and supporting the development of a close-knit team capable of meeting the fast-paced demands of hospitality.
“I love this company, and I love this resort. I’m very proud of what we accomplish every single day,” he adds.
Work on 62 new Suites at the Cabo Azul resort is set to begin this year, allowing more Members to experience its exceptional accommodations, amenities and the surrounding natural beauty.

Opening on May 22, 2025, Universal Epic Universe combines five immersive worlds in one rip-roaring theme park. Visitors are invited to step through “portals” transporting them to different sites: the excitement of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ – Ministry of Magic™, Super Nintendo World™, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk; Dark Universe and Celestial Park. Part of the iconic Universal Orlando Resort, tickets are now available to purchase ahead of the grand opening.

The recently rebranded Riviera Beach & Shores is ready to welcome Members in 2025. Located on the southern California coast, the resort offers cozy beachside Suites and a range of on-site amenities including a games room, hot tub, multiple swimming pools, fitness center and more. The resort is a fantastic base for day trips to some of the area’s must-see spots, including Doheny State Beach, Dana Point Harbor and San Clemente Pier.

Embrace the beach vibes at the new beachside pool at Daytona Beach Regency, a Hilton Vacation Club
Cypress Pointe, a Hilton Vacation Club, Orlando, Florida
Located in the heart of Orlando’s tourism district, with easy access to Walt Disney World® Resort, Cypress Pointe is an excellent family-friendly retreat. A makeover of the water volcano pool and hot tub area is now finished, alongside new outdoor staircases and railings. These improvements also give the resort’s beloved blue and gold macaw Charlie the ability to relish more outside time than ever before.
Daytona Beach Regency, a Hilton Vacation Club, Daytona Beach, Florida
Just moments from the beach, this resort is a perennial favorite of couples and families looking for a peaceful coastal getaway. A complete refurbishment of the outdoor furnishings has recently taken place in the pool and sun deck areas, plus new pool and air hockey tables were added to the games room. In addition, the fitness center flooring was replaced, and improvements to the Tiki Bar roof were just completed.
Grande Villas at World Golf Village®, St. Augustine, Florida
A mecca for golfers, St. Augustine is home to two championship 18-hole courses designed by legendary golf pros Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer. Members staying at Grande Villas at World Golf Village this summer will be able to admire renovations across the resort. A total of 41 Suites were upgraded in Building 4, which includes a new roof, sliding doors, windows, cabinets, lighting, flooring, furniture, washers and dryers, and new artwork. The same extensive work will also take place in 62 additional Suites in Buildings 1 and 3 in 2026.
SeaWorld® Orlando, a Hilton Grand Vacations Club, Orlando, Florida
Located opposite SeaWorld® Orlando theme park, this resort is a fantastic base for families looking to make a splash on vacation. There are several exciting updates at the property, and Members visiting in 2025 can enjoy new 65-inch TVs in the living rooms and 55-inch TVs in the bedrooms across the entire resort. The on-site spas have also been refreshed, and further refurbishments will be taking place in Building 5 in August and Building 11 in September.
At Great Wolf Lodge Webster, in Houston, water lovers have plenty to choose from
Take the Plunge at Great Wolf Lodge
Our partnership with Great Wolf Lodge provides Members with the thrills and spills of North America’s largest family of indoor water park resorts, including two in Texas in the Houston and Dallas metro areas.
Opening its doors for the first time in November 2024, Great Wolf Lodge Webster in Houston has an indoor water park with 13 slides, an adventure area with virtual reality games and a ropes course, and 532 spacious, family-friendly Suites to relax in.
Great Wolf Lodge Grapevine in Dallas recently completed a comprehensive $40 million renovation, with families able to find joy in the numerous entertainment activities, an indoor water park and delicious dining options, all under one roof.
